JAN 31st
Dream:

A friend- unknown, and I are given a large round box.  The box is about 3 feet wide and 20 inches deep.  When we go to deliver the box these earthly kings/princes tell us "We don't want it because it is a covenant."  Cold we take the box across the street where a fire begins to burn inside of it- oddly I dig through the items inside as it burning but I don't get burned.   Inside is a wood medallion as big as a dinner plate and underneath are some rings.  The rings don't seem to be anything of value.  They are thin and look to be made of  aluminum with strips of thin paper on the top.  At the bottom is cashier's check to the United State of America but the amount is of the check is blank.

No doubt this dream has something to do with the United States of America not wanting God and his promises.  God was giving the United States a blank check but they don't want His security.  They value the things of God cheaply.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is "understanding" not actually/always the heart.
The intellectual framework/the seat of understanding is bent toward evil.
We cannot rely upon the intellectual framework.
As the scripture says, "Do not rely/depend on your own understanding but God."
How about seeking affirmation from people instead of from God? Seeking affirmation in sources that are bias?  Seeking advice and affirmation in those with the same logic as yourself knowing they will give you the answers you want to hear - is that sound?  People who share the same attitudes of error- they are bearers of one maturing in Christ.  Even shared information which is perceived by one and even looked upon as obvious isn't necessary true.  The word of God is unbiased in every way.  It cuts to the root of the problem.  Well-being isn't based on where we physically stand or happen to be in circumstances but who we stand with spiritually- GOD.
The flesh can make you and make you feel spiritually bankrupt.  The flesh competes for attention and it uses everything from  uncertainty of the day to activity.
Every morning it seems I must look to the Lord.

Dream- Country (not sure what country) under attack on home soil by another country (could be Russia.)  No electricity.  People drive old vehicles to get around.  People armed and lock themselves in their houses.... women/girls violated.

The KJV translates Strongs H2940 in the following manner: taste (5x), behaviour (2x), advice (1x), understanding (1x), judgement (1x), discretion (1x), reason (1x), decree (1x).

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; ROMANS 1:28

Mislead.... one of the things that is resonated within me is "natural sickness" verses "spiritual sickness" caused by the devil.  That the devil could mislead many by performing healings.  The devil using spiritual sickness -that looks very much like natural sickness- could withdraw his sickness from people - making people believe he has healed them and in reality he just withdraw the oppressive sickness he had caused.  

Generational curse:

"As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?"Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.… Generational curse JOHN 9:1-3  

The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation]. NUMBERS 14:18

 Man made Doctrine Verses the Ways of GOD

"For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.… ROMANS 1:21-23

We claiming to be wise corrupt what God has done and wants us to live in by not remembering God is the same yesterday, today and forever.   We claim to be wise in the things of God yet we deny the things of God and replace them with versions that we think are sound for this day and age.  They make others feel comfortable yet estranging them of God and the things of God.  Church what have you pushed away from yourself concerning the truth?!!!   

"You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. ² And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. ³ Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? ⁴ Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
⁵ But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself.   ^"You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote, ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me^.  Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from God.’” MATTHEW 15:7-9

  "Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.” And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their unbelief." MARK 6:4-6

MAY 
Three words awoke me... at 4:24 AM  I wrote them down on the palm of my hand in the dark.  Capricious, Rebellious... and one other I couldn't read or remember when I awoke. I have since given up on the third word.  Capricious isn't a word I use in my either in verbal or written vocabulary.  Those who read this blog know this. In fact I didn't even know what capricious meant until I looked it up.  

I wasn't even sure if "capricious" was even in the bible but to my surprise it is.  

"And I will make mere lads their princes, and capricious children will rule over them." ISAIAH 3:4 

This is what I have gathered from the context of "capricious". 

• A capricious person is one who casts off restraint.  
• They do what is right in their own sight. 
• They do not seek godly truth or godly reason.
• They chase and follow and fall into every whim.  
• They obscure and diffuse the light or what is right.      

Descriptors of capriciousness are:

fickle, changeable, changeful, flickery, fluctuating, fluid, inconsistent, inconstant, mercurial, mutable, skittish, temperamental, uncertain, unpredictable, unsettled, unstable, unsteady, variable, and volatile

"Arbitrary" is another close description of capricious.... which describes a course of action or a decision that is not based on reason or judgment but on personal will or discretion without regard to rules or standards.  (We see this preached and taught in television shows.  Revenge and lawlessness is okay if it gets you what you want.)    It is without regard for the facts and circumstances presented and a disregard of the evidence.  It implies the element of bad faith, and it may be used synonymously with tyrannical or a ruler with absolute oppressive power.

Are we not living more and more in a capricious society?  A society with complete disregard of the things of God.   A society that is estranged from God.  And it seems the more we try to better ourselves in our own understanding the worse society becomes.  Is our government not becoming more arbitrary and capricious?  Are they not deciding what is best based on their own reasoning and whims?  Are churches becoming capricious and not abiding in what is written clearly in the bible? 

God is not capricious.... He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Clearly man left to only his own "tactic" is capricious.   A capricious man doesn't say, "Lord willing" but he goes right ahead and does it anyway suffering the consequences of his godless ways.   We are being taught how we must trust and respect the Lord with all diligence allowing the Spirit of God to enable us to have self-control.   For in the measure of faith given and grown and tended to by the Spirit of God- capriciousness is limited and put in restraint.  The lungs that breath such godly understanding do well and gracefully grow in the unlimited resources of God not the limited understanding of man.  When the Spirit is allowed to freedom in one's life it becomes evident of the anchor one has in the love and wisdom of God.  Capriciousness is born and bred from our own selfish understanding which limits us.  For our own understanding is like a barrier stopping us from entering the will of God.  For this we already know but in capricious thinking we make a fatal error- thinking God is capricious as well in all he decides and orchestrates.  In capriciousness that is where the bad type of fear has it's place towards God.  For God hasn't given us the spirit of fear - but gives us the ability to have a sound mind.  For the Spirit goes to work taking the selfish rebellious sword in all it's capriciousness and turning it into a godly plowshare.  He, the Spirit, tills up the hard ground of erroneous capricious thinking so new godly growth can flourish in what was veiled before by our own selfish understanding.  For mere human might or power does nothing but by the Spirit of God accomplishes what God has ordained.   For who can find the well of life in the desert when one can only see sand?  And who can bring life to a desert? 

AUGUST
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Proverbs 4:24

Each his own must keep his heart with all diligence.  We are living in times that push and shove against our soul.   

The heart so easily falls in what it hears and sees.   The heart so easily betrays.  Jeremiah the prophet wrote,

 "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; Who can understand it?" 

JEREMIAH 17:9

The heart does like to wander.  It has no sense of it's own.   It often only depends on it's own perceptions and wants which often hinder and harm it's owner.  It needs a rod and staff to guide and correct it.  It is ignorant and foolish.  It has no real will power to keep itself warm but constantly needs "inspiration" from God above so it remains vibrant.  God is the only one who knows the precise needs of a specific heart.  Think of the green grass in the field.  How does it remain so green?  And think of all that receive from her because she is green.  Not so of a field that receives no rain or water.   The heart needs to be reminded of what truly matters.  And it needs to be quieted and humble and even contrite, so the waters within- that so easily are stirred and whipped up may become still to reflect what God wants to give it.  The heart is aimless and useless without God.  Keep thy heart with all diligence.  

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
²     He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
³     he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
⁴ Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;

    in the presence of my enemies.

I have had dreams lately where everything is black and white except for a single column or pillar which turquoise.  Usually I see everything in color.   Apparently I am only to pay attention to what this turquoise pillar means.  May the Lord tell me what this pillar means.

September 8th 
Dream

Then I spoke "NO!" with great authority of not my own to the burning lamps of harm hanging from the ceiling and a great gust of wind quenched them.   The plans of evil were thwarted and they themselves were snuffed out.  

Burning lamps were round golden bronze in color - looking like discs with a single flame coming out of the top.

Mary (Luke) 1:38 "May everything you have said come true."

-God speaking to us and us agreeing with Him.
-Birth of miracles in our life.
-Miracles come when we do what Jesus tells us.

- Same as revelation of the words come into being by Jesus making them come alive, real, awakened, revealed, unveiled.

Lazarus' sister knew Jesus said he was the resurrection and the life.  Jesus stood before her yet there was no break through until Jesus showed her by raising Lazarus from the dead that He was currently as well as in the future- the resurrection and the life.  

Jesus cracks the egg shell of our understanding.  

Threshold of Faith

They see the words but can't seem to cross over the threshold into God's reality.  Is is unbelief, distrust, complacency, neglect.....?  It may be some.... I believe it is surrender, unto God with our everything.  We set everything down that we may be a blank slate that God can fill that slate.

We are all spiritual beings... as spiritual beings we search but not all realize they search for the Father who is in Jesus Christ.   Even those in the occult look for the Father but they are severely confused and twisted.  God has put this want to worship God and find things new but some people don't realize they are worshiping the wrong things and what they try to find as new is never fulfilling and lasting because they don't look to God who makes all things new.  Some stop short in looking to God throughout their day and perspective is lost.    We are spiritual beings who need the Father in Jesus Christ.  He makes our soul satisfied and that satisfaction effects others around us by God's love living in us and through us.

There was a box.  When the number 6 was on it, it destroyed the box but when the number 7 was upon the it the box stayed unharmed.

6 is the number for man.
7 is 6+1 which is man + God.

Be Spirit guided
No flame without a fire.
Seeking in prayer.
Go at the speak of the Spirit not the speed of our presumption.
Abide in the Spirit not the flesh
God will provide in what your need and your call.
God will accomplish in what you have been called to do.
Tasks done in God's Spirit, there is eternal ramifications.

This week I have observed a foreshadowing by preachers in America speaking of persecution of the Christian church in America.

This is not a surprise but a larger and gaining wave in God's people.   Here is where there will be a separation of those who truly believe and those who fall away.  God be with us and help keep our spiritual focus and eyes on Him. 

5/11/2015
Dream... people I did not know had a period of time to share their testimony and then move to a different table with other people but then something happened amongst this time and I ended up with this musical wand.   I waved it in the air and it played music in accordance to how I moved the wand in the air.   I realized I was then in this enormous auditorium (the world) with hundreds and maybe even thousands of people of all colors sitting at theses long rectangular lunch tables.  The tables were the types you see in elementary schools.   As I waved the wand in the air a boy who heard it began to play his instrument to the music and then a woman with her instrument.   The tune being played out of the wand was a flute with the characteristic of an Irish tune but I somehow knew this tune and played the wand accordingly.  I moved around the auditorium and others scatter near and far joined in until the scatter music filled all the parts of the auditorium but then the lights hanging from the ceiling went out and to make them come back on we went to touch them with our wand/instrument and they did come back on briefly and then went off.  I went to touch the lights again but the electricity was drawn away to another... a dark figured man.  I tried again to turn the light on but nothing happened.  Then I remembered a period of darkness.  I remembered that evil will have its spotlight.

It has come to my attention through one of my children that there is a type of music heavily influenced by Satanic spirits.  In some circles it is called "Trance" or "trance music" that puts individuals who are listening under a "trance" and then seemingly unaware the listener is suddenly overcome with a fear and/or panic.  From what I understand it is a series of hypnotic beats or sounds which then mix with strange sounds.  I am grateful that my child knew it was evil.  

Unfortunately its not too hard to imagine a time that is coming when the air waves will be saturated with this evil.   This instrument of evil will be use it to stimulate/influence fear, hate, and other irrational and paralyzing behavior.  A kind of fear I was reminded of in one of my dreams where people were in these trances and filled with fear as they sat on the floor.

I guess we can be grateful that Satan has shown some of his arsenal now so we can be aware of it and speak out against it.  

Sounds sci-fi but yet it is the reality we are seeing and hearing about.  Keep your children and the children of your schools in your prayers.  Pray for those looking over your children at their schools that they too would be aware of the evil and stop it from being spreading.   

This is no new tactic of Satan, something disguised as fun but to bring people under bondage and release evil instead....  Ouija board, drinking, drugs, inhalants, premarital sex, and so on...

I know a man who played around with an Ouija board with his sister one night.   They got it as a new toy but it was evident after they play a little while that something evil had come into their house.   An evil spirit tried to choke the young man at night in his sleep.  Finally having enough, he no longer slept at home anymore but stayed out in streets which brought him into trouble with the law and ended up doing prison time.

Tell your children, friends and family.. it is no joke to mess/play with evil.

I had just finished cutting some ivy that was flopping all silly like in one of my live oak trees when I could not help but notice the beauty in which they ivy surrounded the tree.   I said the the Lord, "You created some wonderful things."
And almost instantly a voice answered back, "I know I do." 
The reply filled me with this joy that actually made me laugh.  I thought the reply was a tad bit arrogant to be God but still the unquestionable joy the reply gave pointed to God.

The Time

Have you noticed the weather.   Just in these few weeks we have had tornadoes, rain storms, and flooding.  Other parts of the country are going through unseasonal weather of drought and warm weather.    

The mums that usually bloom in fall are in full bloom now.  

I have had to wonder is nature showing us something spiritual.

As I slept, I dreamt of this word "Helenslee".  It was spelled out for me.  I had never heard of the word before.  To pronounce it, it sounds like Hel-en-slee.  What is this word?  Is it a city? Is it a person? Is it a thing?  I do remember a school setting but not interested in doing the school work.

When I began to search, I discovered that "Helenslee" was actually a word but not entry certain what Helenslee it is referring to - if any. 

I did find that "Helenslee" is a town.  It is also a person's name or nickname.  And I did find that a school was placed in the Helenslee House after a fire destroyed the original school.

A person does not just dream of words that mean nothing.  Is this from God?  And if so why is He having me dreaming of this name that I don't know anything about?

Is it for the benefit of someone else?

Still in prayer over Helenslee. 

Strange dream of being at a camp.  After camp we were on an enormous bus.  The bus was very very tall and at least twice as wide as a normal bus. I was concerned for the driver taking the corners too fast and tipping the bus.  I kept the little child next to me away from the sides of the open top bus concerned they might slip and fall off.  But my concerns were not warranted for we came off the hillside without incident.  We then came to a white city were water seemed to surround the buildings but did not over take them.  One of the buildings had a golden dome taller then the bus and some looked to have Roman architecture because of the pillars.  There were no people that I could see that lived in this city.  The water pools that surrounded the buildings mirrored the dark blue sky above and seem to breathed and pulse in this rising and lower motion but never over running their very large confinements. 

I then awoke.

Nothing more on Helenslee. 

Perseverance- it is not just a mindset but a partnership with God.

Who had got your back?

The strength and will power of an individual mean nothing to God.  God wants to be our perseverance.  

So he said to me, "This is the world of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. Zechariah 4:6

Relentless...  How many times does God say to be strong and courageous? What follows these statements.  Is it "For the LORD your God is with you."?

Another statement this, "It is impossible to please God without faith."  

Make a choice.  Serve God and God knowing the direction of your heart will be with you wherever you go. 

Why do people fall asleep?  (Spiritually?)  Why do they grow indifferent?   What is it that they see? What have they allowed to influence them?

World affairs in a dream...?

Ukraine and Japan.

The Ukraine military had groups of Japanese kids put in these plastic railroad box cars.  I find myself with them.   It feels almost like Nazis taking Jews away in railroad cars.

One of the Ukraine military men scatter bullet fire at the box cars.  We yell duck and hope no one gets hit.   Everyone stays silent after the gun fire hoping they won't shoot anymore.   A boy and I use a putty knife to escape out of the back of the railroad car. 
The others wait unit the railroad car in on the move to jump out but it is difficult.  

I make it back to the place where I am staying with my family which looks like an old apartment.   I feel like the place is bugged.  I quietly tell my wife and kids we have to leave.  Words quietly passes to the others traveling with us.   We secretly pack up what we can carry and leave in the middle of the night and head for the border.  

Lots of questions about the content of this dream.
Why Ukraine and Japan?  I don't follow these countries.  

Who do I represent?  Am I some ambassador or some other group like a missionary?

Does Ukraine officials look at Japanese officials as children?

Does the U.S. and Japanese feel trapped and forced into in Ukraine's plans that are  fake (plastic)/ unrealistic?  Do they feel threatened by Ukraine?  Do the officials of these two countries feel targeted and spied upon?

Is Ukraine a militant country or controlled by militant attitudes? Is Ukraine's plan dangerous putting us at risk?. 

Are officials from the U.S. and Japan leaving Ukraine?

Dream.
Two Sisters. 

Older sister has found favor with groom.  The groom tells the mother he can't marry the younger sister because his heart is for the older sister.  He "knows" the older sister intimately.  They have danced.  He has laid down with her. He has taken her to be his wife even though the younger sister was certain the groom was going to wed her.

I thought two sisters... its not like two human sisters like Mary and Martha or Leah and Rachel, these two sisters are sisters are like regions, countries, states.
  
The two sisters have the same mother. (They are either from the same land mass or have the same beliefs of origin such as Christianity is born out or it's roots come from of Judaism.    

In the mother being the same land mass/country I found a passage of scripture with similar language in Ezekiel 23.` ( Samaria and Jerusalem).  

It's message content is different but states these similar facts in verse 2,4." Son of man, once there were two sisters who were daughters of the same mother."  The older girls was named Oholah and her sister was Oholibah,  I married them, and they bore me sons and daughters.  I am speaking of Samaria and Jerusalem, for Oholah is Samaria and Oholibah is Jerusalem.    

This has raised some questions. 

U.S. was a country built on Christian beliefs and principles it has since ignored God and not recognized Him as God and has gone to follow false gods in morals and principles.  
 
Israel is a country of Jewish heritage.   Is Israel the older sister and the U.S. the younger sister?

Dream 
December 6th, 2015 

I saw a future city with these floating pyramids like structures.  These structures had a steeples on the top of them.  The pyramids were made of metal and the corners of the structure were rounded and curved. There were two of them that stood side by side. 

I wondered what this meant. They were future churches with no foundation in God.  They were spiritually mechanical and pagan in nature not guided by the Spirit of God.  They blended into their worldly environment.  



JAN 2016

In the dream a man brought a white horse into the front of sanctuary of our church building.  The horse got spooked and ran to the back of the sanctuary where I was sitting.  I calmly put out my right hand knowing somehow it would come to me.  When it came to my hand it transformed into furious white hound and took my right hand into its mouth to bite it.  I was not afraid or even surprised by this sight.    I might have been had the bite actually been a bite but the hound couldn’t harm me.  When the master retrieved the dog, I could see into the animal's mouth.  Around the inside of hound’s teeth was a blue substance that prohibited the hound’s teeth from biting down onto my hand. 

I admit the subject matter somewhat troubled me ... but instead of letting it get the best of me I sought God and after a few weeks these images were revealed one by one.

Interpretation of the objects in the dream.

The Man who brings the Horse
Was this actually a man or someone who appears to be man, I don't know.   Looks can be deceiving and Satan is the master of deception.  The master evidently had authority and power over this horse/dog (individual).

Counterfeit White Horse

“Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you.” Psalm 32:9

The white horse, was led in by a bridle by its master.  It not only pretended to be something or someone godly but it lacked true godly understanding, wisdom, and insight.  And in it's lack of understanding and spiritual "blindness" tried to attack me.
    

The Horse in Panic

On that day, says the LORD, I will cause every horse to panic and every rider to lose his nerve.  I will watch over the people of Judah, but I will blind the horses of her enemies.” Zechariah 12:4  

 

Matthew Henry wrote concerning this passage.

12:1-8 Here is a Divine prediction, which will be a heavy burden to all the enemies of the church. But it is for Israel; for their comfort and benefit. It is promised that God will make foolish the counsels, and weaken the courage of the enemies of the church. The exact meaning is not clear; but God often begins by calling the poor and despised; and in that day even the feeblest will resemble David, and be as eminent in courage and every thing good. Desirable indeed is it that the examples and labours of Christians should render them as fire among wood, as a torch in a sheaf, to kindle the flame of Divine love, to spread religion on the right hand and on the left. 

The Furious Dog

“They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own gain.” Isaiah 56:11

“Outside the city are the dogs- the sorcerers, the sexual immoral, the murders, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.” Revelation 22:15

Dogs are people who lack understanding.  They follow the spirit of deception.  They are evildoers.

When the horse turned into a vicious dog and tried to bite my right hand, the enemy revealed himself or herself.

WONDERS

Joel 2:30-31 “I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”

We can't explain everything away by means of science.  What causes these occurrences?    

 
Dream of graduating as a marine. (Obeying God over human authority -Acts 5:29)

Dream of a bear wearing a yellow vest.  It seems to becoming to attack the small animals lining up with my wife.  I yell at the bear to leave in Jesus name.  The bear hears me and runs back under the fence where it came.  A man says they always have trouble with this bear sneaking out.

Bear: Enemy, Thief of young Christians, Oppressive, religious spirit, Territorial spirit
Yellow: fearful or cowardly, unclean, 
Fence: Barrier, boundary, Provides protection and rest, Blocked, changing loyalties, garrison or army.

Dream
Mission trip.  New people on trip.  A man Steve is killed while on mission trip. People loose heart about continuing.  Spider is on a woman's backpack.  A man kills the big spider causing all these little spiders the spread all over.  Asked to speak by someone and say it would be an honor.   The food vendor feeds me something different then the rest of the group.   They have sort of this pasta dish and mine in more of this meat dish. Then school is out, I am relieved there is no more work to do, and we leave for summer break.

1.You know we are constantly in the mission field as we live here on the earth.  
2. We have new people joining the body of Christ all the time.   We have people who have come back to the Lord after living their life their way and finding no fulfillment.
3.  Our brothers and sisters in areas of the world are being killed for their testimony in Jesus Christ.
4. People loose heart by what they see around them.  Is Steve a form of Stephen in the bible? I don't know.
5. The woman with the backpack, I believe is the church (the body of Christ) as a whole.
6.  She is burdened by some kind of stronghold (large spider). When the stronghold is (taken care of) the church finds there are more tiny strongholds (baby spiders) that keep her from full potential in Jesus Christ.  She has her eyes on the world and not on God.
7. God asks us to speak to others about Jesus Christ and we should consider it an honor.  
8. When God (Holy Spirit) gives us something to say it is often has "meat" in it and substance.  It is sustaining.
9. Soon Christ will come, the school days of this life will be over, and there will be no more work to be done here on earth.

Late last night I could not sleep and in my head I could hear the song "In God's Country" by U2. 
    

"... crooked crosses in God's country" kept being repeated over and over again.

America... America you have stood with Cain.

Dream

 

In the dream had climbed up a rocky hill, I was trying to take pictures of sculpture of a large long necked giraffe sitting beside a lamb in the distance but as I tried to snap a picture this small vision of a "U.S. space shuttle" kept hovering in the way.   In some reluctance I told it to leave but it kept coming so I just nudged it out of the way where it tumbled to the ground.  I thought to myself, "I hope I don't have to pay for that."

Gatherings:
Climbing: Growing up in the Spirit, overcoming, over powering, human effort, preparing for an encounter with Jesus, making spiritual progress
Statue:  Pride (Idolizing self)
Metal: Represents the strength of the natural human, human made, strong, earthly treasures, valued by the world, money, trade or commerce.
Giraffe: Pride; Self-importance.
Lamb: Young Christians, immature Christians
Distance: Time, old, physically separated, feeling unworthy, unsociable,
Space shuttle: (Demonic deception, Spiritual principality, Deceiving spirits)
Camera: (Seeing in the Spirit)
Cameraman: (Seer, prophet, focused individual)
Nudging out of the way: (To exert dominance, expanding dominion and influence, exerting pressure upon.)
Reluctance: Fear

At first this dream didn't make much sense but as I took time to sit down, and seek guidance - God unraveled the mystery of the dream. 

Christians, both young and old, mature and immature have to deal with the nature of pride and self-importance.   We have to be careful not to seek our importance in the world, people and even our peers which can steer us into prideful channels...  But if we seek our importance in God -that keeps us humble.   The spirit of the world influences people to seek "self"-importance and idolizing themselves to justify their worth.  And it is easy for even a Christian to fall into this deceptive trap if they seek importance in their works, degrees, their possessions, money, work, trade instead of in God.

This deceptive spirit thrives in America and even churches.  This deceptive spirit was trying to divert my attention away from it's work but the Spirit of God would not stop having me look and see.   I was at first reluctant to speak against the evil spirit but once I did, the evil spirit "crashed."  God was showing me I was afraid of the consequences and pay back I would receive from the enemy for speaking up and exercising authority over the evil spirit. 

But you know what?  There is no higher authority then Jesus Christ.  He King of kings, Lord of lords. 

Jesus my Lord and Savior.  The one who gives me joy and hope and nourishes my soul,  I thank you for your provision, faithfulness, and protection of my family and myself.  I thank you for your angels watching and protecting us.  I thank you are guiding and directing us.  I thank you for watching over our hearts and minds and making us aware of the deceptions of the world and our own short comings.  I thank you that our importance is in you and how much you love us.  How you knew us before we even in our mother's womb.   When I think of this it is beyond anything I can even think or imagine.  My thoughts can't seem to stretch that far but still you reach down and give us- temporary flowers in the field, to will and encourage and grow the seed of the soul.  I am reminded of this verse by the Spirit.

"And those He predestined He also called, those He called He also justified, those He justified He also glorified.  What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us! He who did not spare His own Son but gave up Him for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?…" Romans 8:30-32

Amen!

I came out of my sleep this morning (the 4th of July) with U2's song "Heartland" playing in my head. It is an obscure song in my memories so I had to look up the lyrics. The lyrics that stuck out where these:
See the sun rise over her skin
She feels like water in my hand
Freeway like a river cuts through this land
Into the side of love
Like a burning spear
And the poison rain
Brings a flood of fear
Through the ghost-ranch hills

In the towers of steel

Water in my hand:
Proverbs 21:1 says "The king's heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases."

God is to guide His church not the ways, desires or understandings of man.

But there is a Freeway/Highway that cuts through this land that leads to destruction:
"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way." Matthew 7:1

In the side of love like a burning spear:

"One of the soldiers, however, plunged his spear into Jesus' side, and at once blood and water poured out." John 19:34

God then gave me this verse:
"For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. 7 For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; 8 but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned." Hebrews 6:4-8

Poison rain: False doctrine spreading throughout the land.
"For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.…" 2 Timothy 4:3-4

This poison rain is in the heartland... in this case- America. Yes unfortunately in some churches who have gone to fulfill the desires of sinful men rather then God.

It is poisoning the foundational, biblical truths that America was set upon in God/Jesus Christ to bring us LIFE, FREEDOM, LIBERTY and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Without these living truths in God, a country- just as the individual, ceases and falls from their greatness which they had when God was their focus.

God knows what's in the heart. He knows what grows in the land of the heart...
