You ever have one of those episodes where it seems like you are doing what God wants you do and then it seems like it has completely taken a wrong turn?
I know that is the way David felt when he was bringing the Ark of God back to Jerusalem. (2 Samuel 6). Here he was bringing the Ark of God back to God's people so they could be blessed and one of the escorts gets struck dead by God's anger for trying to stabilize the Ark of God.
You want to do what God wants but in your haste or passion it isn't necessary the way God wants something done or in the order God wants you or someone else to do it in. And when you try to force it to be done your way... you aren't in God's will. You are heading down that road marked of good intentions that lead only for a heartache. Thank God for his grace. Thank him helping us to steer us right and stand up again. Thank him for stopping the situation before it became even worse.
After the realization you hadn't done things the way God wanted them to, you probably become frustrated, sad, angry, and even thought God was upset with you. Your role or someone else's role wasn't what you thought it was suppose to be.
You find out that you were zealous and not careful with the position/role and responsibility God had given you. You assumed and ran with emotions as David had and it didn't turn out the way you expected. You even might have had to stare at some of your weakness and accept them along with opposition of those who came with you down this road or idea.
We all may have the zeal to do right but it's God's way or no way. Thank God he was there with his hand over our lives when we did go too far. When we were over zealous and assumed more then what we were suppose to take on. We said more then what we were suppose to say. We messed up but God does beautiful things with our mess ups too.
May the Lord help us all to be the person He wants us to be for today, in Jesus Name Amen.
A journal of sorts... to possibly comfort, encourage and build up others in Christ Jesus.

You Were Made For Such A Time As This. (Body of Christ)
(Ephesians 2:10) "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
We have the power to deal with others through Christ and the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 13:4)
So we may bring God glory (Romans 1:5)
Don't entangle yourself with how others think of you but what God thinks of you! Don't entangle yourself with emotions that weigh you down and chain you up and try to deafen you to God's voice and God's purpose for you in these moments and times!
"You are among those who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ, dear friends of Rome. God loves you dearly, and he has called you to be his very own people. May the grace and peace be yours from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 1:6)
You can only have grace and peace from God when you truly trust and obey God.
"All praise to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the source of every mercy and the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. You can be sure that the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer, you will also share God's comfort." (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)
"For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything. If you need wisdom- if you want to know what God wants you to do- ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. They can't make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do." (James 1:3-7)
Go to God. Tell Him your troubles and leave your concerns and worries with Him. He will remind you what to think on and to fully rely on Him. Then you will be able to comfort and encourage others as a servant and friend. And when troubles try to overtake your peace of mind and the testing seems too great, He will direct you by wise counsel (A pastor or a mature Christian).
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us- they help us learn to endure. And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confidence expectation of salvation. And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:3-5)
Remember God's love is far greater then we can possibly imagine yet somehow (through God's Holy Spirit) we have the opportunity to experience it everyday of our lives no matter what problems and trials seem to present themselves. We have the opportunity to change and take another step in being the person and God wants us to be. People who see us are in wonder of how we can stay calm in such circumstances and when they ask you why you seem to not be bothered and negative by such trials, you can tell them that you have God, who far greater then theses temporary matters and concerns.
'People need more then bread for their life; they must feed on every word of God.' (Matthew 4:4) "...Real life comes by feeding on every word of the Lord." (Deuteronomy 8:3)
You and I must be in God's word everyday. When we read God's word and think on it, it will come back to us in our time of need. It will encourage us to continue on and to live the life God has called us to live. When we stumble, God's word can remind us of God's mercy and grace and quicken us to stand back up and walk again.
We can't go back and change something in the past or what we said or did. (If you hurt someone, humbly apologize and try to make it up to them.) If circumstances change that were beyond your control, don't try to carry the burden of trying to take on and understanding those changes. God knows what you and I are capable and not capable of handling at this moment in time but he also gives us insight and direction when changes do occur. If plans change, except those changes based on the insight you have been given and you will have peace and your burdens lightened.
I am finding that even if something was said or done in good intentions but wasn't intended in God's plan in the first place -you and I can't change God's plan. You and I can't stop the doors from being closed and the continual battle to come to a roaring halt.
We may not even realize God's plan destined for us and others because we are doing something that is biblically sound at the time- but in the scope of God's master plan, our role can be quite different then what we presumed in the first place. And when we come to this realization it can even be quite painful for a bit of time until we realize our true role in God's plan. God's word brings peace and lightens our load and shows us that even in times of good or bad He is with us.
You were made for such a time as this. May what we learn now from these experience never be forgotten, in Jesus Name Amen.
