1. Check out the word "HOPE."
2. What is the difference between the human definition of hope and hope defined by God and His word? When compared side by side- they are two different meanings. There is a human hope which is "if" or "maybe" and a godly hope is a sure confidence knowing God is your salvation. He is where we find rest. God is trustworthy and we should put our full reliance in Him. He is our lasting foundation. God is where we should direct our focus. Hope in God is where we are able to receive and attached to faith God is able to build up us in Him.
(If your bible has a concordance you can look up the definition and see examples for hope there. In some of the newer bibles they have reference words such as hope in the front of your bible too.)
