Thoughts of the day.
“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work
for his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
Both to "will" the soul
Both to "work" the soul
To empower the soul in another mindset besides it's own.
For his good pleasure....
'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread." Matthew 6:10-11
That we might know his will... which is what?
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the
will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
The sweet liberating spot in God not the influencing factors of ourselves (the understanding of flesh) or the world.
